ANDREW MARTIN

Sr. Partner, Technology

Andrew brings to Stream Networks over 30 years of technical and business knowledge.  He began his career as an electrical engineer at Burroughs before founding the technology integration company DataLink in the late 1980’s.  Andrew built DataLink into a multi-million dollar international company with clients in the United States, Great Britain and Ireland including Johnson Matthey, Elavon and Optical Fiber Systems.  Andrew traveled extensively to Europe, Ireland, Sweden and Asia in the service of clients and the pursuit of educational goals during the 1990’s and mid 2000’s when he returned to the United States and settled in Atlanta.

In 2012 Andrew reorganized DataLink into Stream Networks and continued working with credit card processors to build high speed transaction processing networks while expanding the services offerings to include hosting, storage, data center build-outs and a consultancy group with a number of international telecommunications and financial services clients.  Andrew concentrates primarily on core network architecture and holds Juniper certifications, but his reach with clients frequently finds him traversing the networks of major carriers ensuring client systems are connected and free of interruption.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University, numerous networking and electrical engineering certifications and has worked in the robotics laboratory at the Technical University of Linkoping, Sweden.
